With significant professional experience in staffing, recruitment, and talent development, I’ve worked for large companies in tactical production and strategic leadership roles. I’ve gained additional experience in staffing and executive/retained search with start-ups and mid-sized growth companies.
My work allowed me access to successfully collaborate and place talent with the Fortune 500 to associations and non-profits. These experiences propelled my desire to branch out and form my dream company: Esse Ki.
My inspiration
Growing up in Washington, DC, and Chapel Hill, NC, I was influenced by the times and places we lived, my mother, and my father, whose C-suite leadership stood out for his forward-thinking commitment to advancing women at a time when it was far from the norm. Their example shaped my mission to champion women and see potential in all who face the challenges of bias in their quest to advance in the business world.

Today, Chicago is both my home and my inspiration. Rooted in this city’s energy and resilience, I am motivated by the community we’ve built and the love I share with my husband, who is a proud Chicago native, our son, and extended family. My journey continues to be fueled by the belief that progress comes from collective action, courage, and the pursuit of a truly diverse, equitable, and inclusive world.
